There are two opposing powers on the planet: Fear and Love.
Love propels you forward whilst the fear holds you back. Winston Churchill led the British Army to victory with these famous words: “There is nothing to fear except fear itself”. Kahlil Gibran said “Work is love made visible”. With this in mind we invite you to fuel your passion. Obstacles are nothing more than challenges on your road to victory. Love what you do and do what you love!”. Success is yours for the taking.
Rachel Lowe, a single mother of two came up with her winning business idea while working part-time as a taxi driver. She invented a game involving players throwing dice to move taxi pieces around a board collecting fares to travel to famous destinations. The aim being to get back to the rank before running out of fuel.
However Rachel was roasted when she pitched her idea on History Channels – Dragon’s Den. With passion and persistence she managed to get a loan elsewhere which together with her offering of Harry Potter and Disney versions propelled her game ‘ Destination London’ into the top 10 best-selling games. Today her business is worth more than $3.2 million.
Simply by being passionate about what she was doing, an idea sparked which resulted in tremendous success. This is one of a plethora of examples where doing something for the love of it can be rewarding on all levels.
